Dr Ruth Nimbargi is originally from Mumbai in India, where she obtained her MBBS. After undertaking specialist GP training in the UK, she moved to Australia and worked on King Island and Melbourne, before moving to Cairns. Passionate about individualised, holistic skin cancer care, Dr Ruth offers thorough skin checks and a range of medical and surgical treatments for sun damaged skin and skin cancers. She values patient concerns as key to treatment success. She has undertaken extensive skin cancer training and is working towards her Fellowship with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr Nicole Sleeman is a General Practitioner with a focus on women’s health, mental health, sexual health, and culturally safe care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. She integrates lifestyle medicine into holistic, trauma-informed, person-centred care. Passionate about prevention and sustainability, Nicole also advocates for climate-conscious healthcare through her work with Doctors for the Environment Australia, promoting the vital connection between human and planetary health.
More InfoDr Morice graduated with his Doctor of Medicine in 1993 from the University of Arizona and obtained his Specialist in Family Medicine qualifications through the American Board of Family Medicine in 1996. He is also a qualified HIV medicine specialist, from the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and practiced in the field for 12 years. He is an S100 prescriber for HIV medications in Queensland and has a specialty interest in blood-borne disease. Dr Morice emigrated to Australia in 2007 and has lived in Cairns since 2008. He is a well-respected GP within the Cairns LGBTQ community.
Dr Roland Lotsu brings over 20 years of medical experience, including 10+ years in skin cancer medicine and surgery. Internationally trained across Poland, England, New Zealand, Australia and Austria, he holds fellowships with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, Skin Cancer Institute, and RNZCGP. He is also an Academic Expert in Dermoscopy. His expertise spans advanced skin checks, lesion monitoring, complex surgical closures, PDT therapies and doctor training. A Presidential Scholarship recipient, Dr Lotsu combines clinical excellence with compassionate care, and enjoys time with his wife, six children and outdoor activities.
Dr Amanda Roberts is a Cairns-based GP, DAME (CASA Designated Medical Examiner), and founder of Stratford Medical Centre and the Wheels of Wellness program. She moved from South Africa in 2007 and worked with the Royal Flying Doctor Service for 10 years. Amanda has special interests in emergency medicine, mental health, and community care. She mentors GP registrars, serves on several health boards, and is also a foster carer and mum to two teenagers and many animals.
